Krav Maga in the College environment and Anti-Bullying

Every year, I train kids from different High Schools on general safety. However, I have a school that I feel a special connection to: City Honors High School in Inglewood, California isn’t your average school – it’s a school for kids with great potential in one of California’s worst neighborhoods, Inglewood. These kids are not just special only because of their great work ethics and above-average intelligence and grades: they are driven, hard working, appreciative and very well-behaved.

Included in this post is a video from my seminar at City Honors, where I taught the kids Krav Maga as self defense for the college environment, against bullies and in life in general. The seminar was focusing on Krav Maga’s basic rule: Go home safe, no matter what.

I believe the seminar helped the kids realize that self defense is not only a necessity in today’s society – it’s a nice feeling, knowing how to take care of yourself and your loved ones.
