BAMMA 7 Fight Night, Braulio Estima and Paul Daley

The day is finally here and we are walking over to the NIA Arena in 30 minutes. Frank Trigg is re-hydrated; re-fed; re-sted; and looking re-assuring (sorry, had to).
Hardly any sleep last night but I hear it’s overrated anyways. Woke up this morning and went down for a training session with Braulio Estima, who was there preparing for his ADCC 2011 bout. He tapped me with submission I don’t even know what they’re called…
Also rolled quite a bit with Ronnie Mann of Bellator, who has a wicked ground game (found out a couple of hours later that his stand up is great to – he fought an old student of mine, Fahad Maniar). Thanks again to Braulio, who was so inviting to us whilst we’ve been over here!

After training, I had to run over to the National Indoor Arena for the medicals and a quick interview with former UFC/Strikeforce Title challenger Paul Daley.

Then run back to eat lunch with Xtreme Couture Manager Sam Spira and Frank Trigg. Then, run back to the hotel and meet my old prodigy Fahad Maniar for the first time in 12 years!
