Marcus Kowal & Mishel Eder's 15-month old son, Liam, was struck on September 3, 2016 in a Hawthorne, California crosswalk by a drunk driver.  His parents chose to donate his organs so that others might live.  In his devastation, Marcus was determined to stop Liam from becoming just another faceless statistic about the dangers of drunk driving.  He and his wife, Mishel, embarked on a new fight to give Liam the justice he deserves, working as tireless advocates to change impaired driving laws.

Liam’s Life Foundation is a 501(c)(3) California Non-Profit Organization founded by Marcus & Mishel in honor of their son.  Join them as they raise awareness about the impact of impaired driving and work to lower the blood alcohol content level (B.A.C) from .08% to .05% to help reduce alcohol-related fatalities.

On February 22, 2019, Liam’s Law CA Bill AB1713, was introduced into the California House of Representatives by Assemblymember Autumn Burke, Assemblymember Heath Flora & Senator Jerry Hill.
